Tallest Skyscraper in the World Almost Completed
The Burj Dubai tower, the tallest skyscraper in the world, is about to be completed. To celebrate it, David Hobcote has taken a series of amazing high resolution pictures from the air which give an exact impression of the breathtaking, massive scale of this building. Inside, it looks like a set from Blade Runner or the interior of the Death Star.

“Yes. Finally. After a year of development, 1.8 has finally gone stable. The main major feature added is Teredo (see General preferences) and IPv6 support, but there’s a slew of smaller features, changes and improvements. The changelog is absolutely massive, so check it out down below.
For those with “HTTP 400″ error, that is a problem with NOD32. Please disable IMON or upgrade to 3.x.
Other major features are bypassing the Windows system cache (see the Disk Cache settings), significantly improved proxy support, and magnet URIs.”

Found this little gem while looking for something else… thought I’d share it.
When you have a computer with a recent model CPU, chances are it’s a dual-core CPU. Both Intel & AMD have been producing dual core CPU’s for a few years now. By default, Windows Vista will only use a single core during boot-up. You can easily change this from the System Configuration utility:
- In Vista’s Start Search type msconfig & hit the [Enter] key on your keyboard
- Once System Configuration has started, select the Boot tab and click the Advanced Options button
- In the BOOT Advanced Options dialog, check the “Number of processors” check box, and choose 2 (or 4 if you have quad core) for the number of processors.
- Click OK twice.

This is supposed to speed up things…although I haven’t notice any improvements so far in boot times.
